The Opportunity

  • The Adobe Commerce Customer Engineering team is looking for a Sr. Engineering Program Manager to join our Cloud Operations team.
  • As a high-growth, digital experience company, we are looking for an experienced Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the successful delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and expectations.

What you'll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and business, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Implement modern agile methodologies to optimize project execution and promote continuous improvement.
  • Apply AI and ML skills, such as natural language processing (NLP), recommendation systems, and predictive analytics, to enhance engineering processes, improve system performance, and drive innovation.
  • Work closely with architects and developers to ensure the best technical solutions are crafted with the customer journey in mind.
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to collaborators, highlighting progress, challenges, and key decisions.
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.

What you need to succeed

  • 10+ years of enterprise application and cloud experience working on transformational engineering and business programs.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical leadership experience
  • Cloud expertise deploying, and handling scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure, using services provided by leading cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with running Adobe Commerce (Magento) or e-commerce platforms, including understanding of its architecture, modules and customizations capabilities.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, PHP, Javascript, Databases, APIs and understanding of e-commerce concepts including merchandising, payment gateways, shipping, order management and SaaS architecture.
  • Understanding of enterprise platforms and applications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Power Automate, Copilot and Jira)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Strong analytics & discernment are important.
  • Risk Management: Ability to assess, communicate, and proactively address project risks.
  • Resource Management: Proficiency in handling initiatives across shared resources, identifying constraints, and driving projects to completion.
  • Observability: Skill in packaging project plans into easily observable views for collaborators and teams, ensuring visibility and progress tracking.
  • Experience with Agile, Kanban, scrum and other industry standard development methodologies.
  • Experience leading large geographically-distributed core teams
  • Shown experience leading/implementing self service & knowledge management
  • ITSM/ITIL Foundations, LSS Certifications, or PMP desired
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
  • End-to-End, holistic, strategic problem solver
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (when possible)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $123,400 -- $224,100 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
