Insituform Technologies, LLC.is looking for a Part time Intern to work in our maintenance department in our Batesville, MS facility.

Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Continuous Improvement/Facility Manager.

  • Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of electronic instrumentation, control panels, and equipment monitoring devices.
  • Assist with Implementation of 5-S and Continuous Improvement actions to correct/prevent defects and to improve equipment efficiency.
  • Assist in the capture and development of Standard Work for plant operations.
  • Participate in problem solving activities as well as implementation of corrective actions.

  • Internship Duration: Must be available to work Part time for a minimum of 52 weeks beginning in June 2024 and ending May 2025.
  • Education and/or Experience: Pursuing an undergraduate degree of Applied Sciences and/or Industrial Electronics Engineering is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and to other employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical Skills: The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read technical manuals and to size and monitor motors, motor controllers and other electrical equipment.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists and interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
