Job Description

The Global Fulfillment Manager (GFM) will implement governance and lead the strategy for our outbound fulfillment from plants and Distribution Centers to customers and intercompany shipments. The expectation is you will use change management skills to guide and establish governance, standardization, and strategy to achieve fulfillment targets and business growth objectives. You will implement processes, and training to guide accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in all aspects of global fulfillment and fulfillment policy and execution. Role expectations will be guided through relevant data acquisition, detailed transactional analysis, lean tools, and automation. The GFM will also develop collaborative working relationships with individual site, regional, and materials leadership to monitor and evaluate performance and to recommend actions to attain our objectives.

Major Responsibilities:

Develop governance and strategy for fulfillment operations to not only meet today's demand and tomorrow's growth objectives, but also building resiliency in our fulfillment network.

  • Based on strategy, create standardized and sustainable processes in our material providing and handling processes.
  • Lead projects within DC facilities to implement the standard processes.
  • Provide SAP technical support to operations when setting up new processes and revising old.
  • Central contact to consolidate capex project proposals and annual IT resources requests for DCs as part of annual planning activities.
  • Collaborate with DCs to implement capacity verification plans and identify capacity risks (inbound, inventory, outbound, and equipment).
  • Consolidate and report the pertinent Indicators, as well as, suggesting and tracking implementation of DC-specific improvement activities.
  • Implement health checks with Materials planning and Customer Care processes to ensure efficient operations within DC environments and pursue revenue goals.
  • Provide relevant experience for all affected activities. Help develop training for material providing and handling processes. Be a trainer.
  • Organize, leads and facilities projects related to fulfillment objectives.
  • Communicate process outcomes and risk/mitigations in development of proposed changes/business cases for investment.
  • Apply early risk identification techniques to forecast.
  • Recommend and support technology strategic roadmap to facilities efficiencies, growth and resiliency within DC operations.
  • Recommend actions to mitigate risk and build resiliency within global fulfillment strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor visas for this job posting now or in the future.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA in Operations/Logistics/Business / Industrial Engineering.
  • 5-10 years experience in global professional experience in distribution, order fulfillment, supply chain management, and manufacturing operations.
  • Use of SAP or ERP system functionality and parameters.
  • Experience with databases, query/reporting tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of lean/six sigma or manufacturing continuous improvement techniques
