JOB DESCRIPTION:

Operate robotics machines to form and shape metal into various shapes and sizes and impart desired strength, hardness or other characteristics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for tagging all material and separating by lot number.
• Performing quality checks, both visual and dimensional at appropriate intervals for both hot press and cold press
• Use of hand tools and power tools
• Responsible for mechanical and quality troubleshooting for both hot press and cold press
• Tearing down and building die cassettes for new and old product numbers for both hot press and cold press
• Use of drawings and schematics for both hot press and cold press
• Filling shot blast machines with media when necessary
• Taking out old shot blast media when necessary
• Cleaning out lubrication tanks when necessary
• Hand sorting parts and stacking material when needed
• Robotics
• Warm & Cold Forging Experience a plus
• Troubleshooting abilities, Gauging.
