Job Summary: Havel is seeking a Critical Power Sales Engineer for our Building Automation Group. The Sales Engineer will be responsible to meet with clients and offer solutions for Electrical Distribution, Monitoring and Alarming, Power Quality Monitoring, Power Quality Correction and Digitization of Energy. Solutions provided include Utility Bill Verification, Predictive Electrical Maintenance, Energy Monitoring, Metering Solutions, Reduction of Energy and CO2 Usage and compliancy with energy and electrical digitization goals. The Sale Engineer will support the Havel locations of Fort Wayne, IN; Indianapolis, IN; South Bend, IN; Detroit, MI and Phoenix, AZ. The position includes working with our Havel engineering group to provide digitized solutions direct to clients, as well as, working with the engineering community direct to provide solutions for projects developed through engineered services. The position has the opportunity to develop into a group manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be organized and possess good time management skills to prioritize workload
• Identifies a specific action plan for each account
• Develops positive relationships with customer contacts, other site contractors, and our internal support teams
• Understanding of critical power facility solutions for Data Centers, CoLocates, Government, Educational, Healthcare, Manufacturing and Industrial Accounts.

Qualifications:

• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Technology Bachelor's Degree preferred - similar experience in the electrical field acceptable.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical power quality, building automation, metering or digitization of power.
• Strong electrical and power distribution understanding.
• Excellent communicator, self-motivated individual with professional communication skills
• Can handle a variety of situations encountered during the installation processes
• Work under minimal supervision
